Where is everyone #2!!

Got ill Saturday evening, went with my health care plan and visited the liquor store. Downed a bottle of Bacardi Gold and a gallon of orange juice (alcohol kills everything) and woke up late Sunday afternoon. The hangovers gone today and I am feeling better. Stomach feels queasy from all the booze, and I really don't have much of an appetite...it's a good time to start a diet and get back into the iron. Man, do I miss the iron.

I don't normally watch TV, but I found some show called "Bar Rescue" on TV that's extremely interesting. The guys a prick, but he's a money making fiend!

Well we finally got lded. this afternoon. They put the one piece on my deck.They start shrink wrapping it.. Ok good deal..
Oh we need you to pull up so we can get the other crate picked up and put it on your rear deck.
I'm like huh??? Yep the crate goes also. No I'm contrated for 1 unit. There it is. Show them the paper I got..
Well it seems this shipper list the whole complete unit no matter how many crates or skids as 1 unit.
Phone calls were made and opinons were politley expressed. Money was made right, plus that fact it all had to be tarped. I lost on my tarp fee rate as some of our previous idoits here have tarped these big lds. for low ball money...Will still do ok, but we lost all day lding this piece and I knew it would be an all day deal, so I allways shoot high for tarp pay

 

Company drivers don't care what they haul. A O/O manages the truck efficiently. Well, he's supposed too

I'm still at the house looking to leave. Next to nothing on the board. The load I want loads Thursday. Figures.

 

Well these are O/O's. I told the agent these guys do not know their costs and time involved.
He agreed with me,but the freight forwarder pointed out that some of our trks. had tarped for less money than I was asking.
I think the same idiots that think 200.00 a day for sitting is good money.. MY backside is still sore over that.
Used to be 100.00 an axle up to an 8 axle unit and then more for the bigger trls.
Me I was only wanting to charge a 5 axle rate as that is what I have for the ld.. This ld. is not a 7 axle ld., So I was not asking that rate
