I'm getting out of the Army next year and looking at the Honors Program. Does anyone know what the cpm is starting out in the program? I'm planning on going to a truck driving school and then doing the flatbed securement training with Roehl.

I have been looking at this program. I used to drive OTR 10 years ago then I went into the Army and have been there almost 10 years now. I am looking on getting out late 2015. I still have my CDL so I wonder how that will work with the GI Bill.

Just remember to get dot physical once you get out. Need to show dmv now or CDL is basically suspended. In military of course grandfathers that. But once out there is a time limit.

should start out at .32/mile but check with recruiter. honor program is great. if u like gig and work well with it Roehl has dedicated routes, training, or u can even switch trailer types. Roehl is very flexible that way.

I have been OTR in the past ( over 10 yrs ) so I would not need a CDL, still have mine. I'm guessing they will just have me go with a trainer for a bit. I dont see the need to go through a school again....been there and done that.

Roehl has four fleets: Van, Flatbed/Specialized, Curtainside, and Reefer.
