I'm going to have to go see what that is all about ....you have me curious .....or is that just being nosy? :biggrin_25517:

Patty might want you around more ....it always comes in handy to have you guys within striking distance of the rolling pin when it is time for your quarterly attitude adjustment.:biggrin_25522:

I swear night dispatch does this crap on purpose.... My DM had me preplanned to Cheyenne. I got unloaded, sent a 009, and then craeked up to the Greenfield, IN Pilot to slerp tonight since that load doesnt pic up tio 2pm tomorrow. Less than an hour after Julie leaves they unpreplan me, and dispatch me on some crap going to Premio foods in Jersey. Uh, no. I am still sick, and now I havent eaten in three days and I can feel the effects of it. I opted to ignore it and Lukr calls me. Told him I could see it was good miles and I appreciated it being followed up with a PP, but Im not up for it and Im going to Cheyenne. Now theyre begging me to pick it up and will swap me in OH where I will pick up a load going to Cheyenne.

I have been noticing my miles are going down. They wanted me to take a load to MA, and it was only 1800 miles for the whole week. I turned that down, and ended up with a 1300 mile trip that unloads in the morning. My pre-plan is only 700 miles and it delivers Thursday. So that's only 2000 miles. Whats up with the short trips that last all week??

Hey kirk! Been wondering about ya. In the past this was a fairly busy time for TransAm ....lots of Holiday entertaining coming up so it's normally a good time for meat haulers.

Guess who is sitting in Paw Paw with no load because the load they were preplanned on and then dispatched on was picked up hours earlier?! If you guess a very ticked off honeybadger then you get a cookie.

    transam is frustrating
    every company is that way

TransAm is not a bad choice, it's a place to start and gain experience. Many of us, myself n particular, are able to vent in this thread, so you see a whole lot of negative stacked up in one spot. They have their good and their bad just like any other company.

Come on in the waters fine. I will say that every day/week is not always good, but in my journey with Trans Am things are going well. I am doing a 5 year lease, and so far Im not sorry Im here. I did do a 6 month lease to start with to test the waters, and found Trans Am to be a good place for me. But that is just my story, and yes sometimes we all vent on here. So don't base your decisions on some of the negativity you hear on here.
