Haven't really heard much bad about the reefer program other than the reefer payback. PM FloatnlikeFiber. He just came off of a lease there. Honestly though, you might want to go company with em first to make sure they're a good fit for you.

I ask this question a lot around the yard. Most of them seem oddly happy with there position. I have talked to 1 or 2 that were unhappy and saying they were finding it hard to make ends meet, but the vast majority say they are doing great. It also seems that a lot of it has to do with what lanes they put themselves in. Most say that its all about running the produce out of California and getting yourself out there to get it often. If you don't do that from what I understand, it can be a struggle otherwise. The main complaint is that the OO buys the reefer fuel, but from the outside looking in, if the rest of the math works with that due to other advantages in return, then maybe its not as big an issue. It is also interesting to note that they did just take a hit on Line Haul. I believe they went from 77% to 73%. I could be wrong. Everyone was PISSED for a few days, but again, looking outside in, I think that is still higher then a lot of other solid companies offering Line Haul. I think Schneider was 60% when I was there. MCT about the same. I agree though, might wanna run as a company to test the waters first. Equipment is not bad anyways and they allow for smokers, none smokers, and pet owners.

I am not 100% sure, but as far as I know and the language of our website suggests, yes.

if the staff at freymiller likes you. then you will do well here at freymiller. for the first 90 days or until you get the twic card. it is work under contingency. if for some reason you can't get the twic card. or if they don't like you. then they will start treating you badly until you quit. so after 2 months. if you don't hear anything out of the twic office. then you need to find a new job. many guys come here as company drivers for the 30 day period and then they lease there own trucks they have at home to them. so what are the miles like here. 2500 to 3600 every week. it's 3 to 4 weeks out and then 4 days at home. they don't want drivers staying out longer then 4 weeks. they do let some of the new hire drivers stay out for 7 weeks. after that. they force the driver to go home. and that's for company drivers only. owner ops and lease drivers can stay out as long as they want. and would I recommend any one to freymiller? No? and for reason I won't get into.

read the post I wrote above. it's as close as you are going to get for honesty about a trucking company. and I still won't recommend any driver to work for this company...
