So yesterday I got told my Wednesday 19' 6" wide will be Thursday.

06:02 this morning I get a text saying it will be loaded and ready for the gate at 3:00pm this afternoon. I call my pilots and tell them to be there at 2:45. They leave Texas in time to get to Tulsa at 2:45 then at 09:42 am I get another text telling me they are running ahead of schedule and will have me ready to roll at 1:30. So I call the pilots again and knowing they are already in route and can only drive so fast ask them to step on it and get here ASAP. I drop what I'm doing and run out the door, haul arse 210 miles to the customer, pull in at 1:38 pm only to find they haven't even started loading yet!!

So here I sit, 50' outside the gate so as far as the shipper is concerned it shipped today but it shipped exactly 3 minutes before legal sunset. My pilots ran their arses off to get here at 1:55 only to sit here the rest of the afternoon then go to the motel.

Now the same person who told me my load would be ready at 1:30 is telling me I have another one on Tuesday that will be ready to load at 05:00. However I was in the building and looking at the next set of wings that's supposedly going to be ready for Tuesday but the people working on them just laughed and said maybe Friday or Saturday but no way in h##l would they be ready Tuesday.

Still adjusting, haven't quite figured out the Detroit RPM wise. Been running my cat at 1300 but this Detroit has no power that low.
