    run diesel but once a month or so a bit of kerosene to keep it clean

    I worked in a confined space with one of those heaters, it used diesel fuel, it would burn you eyes out and gave off puffs of smoke no matter how hot it got, Kerosene is a lot better, if you are going to breath.
    Just a thought!
