yes, I had a lot of play in the jaws and wanted to get them adjusted.......but he called and said the top plate that the trailer
rests on is worn out.... 2 different things......I knew the jaws needed to be adjusted or a new set installed but not
the plate itself....I will get a second opinion on that one !!

I'm up here at Supervalu in Anniston alabama... This place sucks too... Sitting out on the road waiting for the guard to call me and she has the worst radio I've ever heard... Can't understand a thing...
-
Today is one of those days I need me a loose leaf log book...
-
I've had too many of those days. Got to Orlando/Mclane with 6 minutes left on my clock
-
That's where I'm headed... I'm at the petro in Gadsden, AL... Due in Orlando at 3am... I have no choice but to wait till 8pm and be late
-
Did everyone get the email letter from the company today.......one thing looks like they are pushing mileage pay.....I would too....we make less and they make more......if I am forced to go mileage...I am leaving....simple as that!
-
I work for an O/O with his own authority. Right now I'm sitting in Johnstown, CO. Been here all day after delivering to WalMart in Loveland, CO. Loads are only paying $.95 to $1.00 a mile including fuel surcharge on freight that weighs 40,000 lbs or more. That barely covers fuel and my paycheck.
-
Yea I read it too... I'm 100% with you... I'm not into that mileage pay
-
$1.00 "including" fuel surcharge ??? I think you mean "excluding" fuel surcharge......don't know how much longer O/O can pull loads like that.....I believe it will eventually come to a point where the loads will sit.....just can't move a truck for that cheap....
