I've uncoupled a few times to get fuel instead of waiting til morning. Just depends where I want to log it. If I fuel at the end of day I don't have to worry about going over 14. Depending on what company I was driving for I would sometimes include fueling with my pre-trip (could be a DOT violation if you try to do both in 5 minutes).

I had to scale my load last night and the Flying J in Wayland, MO was the closest. When I got here I immediately looked for a place to park, but it was crazy full already at 2100. So scaled and parked quickly where I wasn't supposed to park and went in to pay.
I asked about where I was parked and she said if you need to move someone will wake you up. So I stayed put. Now the alarm just went off so I'm going to eat breakfast and get going. -
Got my Dr appointment done. They want me to come back on the 24th for a "REAL" sleep study. The doc confirmed my suspicions. That the test they used was most likely screwy. 50% chance I can get off the "machine". I'll take it.
Projektf350, goblue, Bayle and 1 other person Thank this. -
Currently waiting to be loaded at a steel tube plant in south Chicago. Deliver to Kansas City on Monday morning, will be nice to have an easy weekend because I've been running pretty hard this week.

Yea I've noticed people are just staring to park wherever they can find a place. I got blocked in one morning at a TS and I was in an actual spot. Trucks parking every which direction and everywhere.

Getting loaded in Marion, OH, then headed up to St Johns, MI. Already have a PP for the rest of the weekend after this run.

Sitting at a consignee in St Joseph, MO.

I got blocked in by another Roehl driver at the Pilot in Oak Creek,WI earlier this week. Apparently parking their truck half way on the curb was a better option than going right down the street to the drop yard and parking there.Meltom Thanks this.
