Rest area 1-96 Ingham, MI. Huge rest area and there is NOBODY here. Very odd. No freight up here or what? I'm literally the only truck here.

I haven't done much in Michigan but I do remember being 1 of 2 trucks in a truck stop up north on I-75.

Maybe I'm not as sensitive as I thought. I definitely put my jacket on when it's cold, but I have noticed that I'm the only one without a jacket at my last few stops. It was only down to 50 something and up to 66. Maybe I'm just a tad sensitive compared to my fellow northern Wisconsinites. But compared to these Missourians I'm pretty stout.

    Meltom Thanks this.

Heading out to Stanwood this morning, to pick up the load that delayed me soo much last week to. Was over 160 on either the trailer or drives, depending on which pin I adjusted to. Delayed on account of Customer Service fighting with shipper to remove/adjust some of the load.

Time for some fun again today.

And it is getting crazy out there for parking. Those reserved spots at the TA look nicer each time I see em. My worst night was at the Flying J near Pontoon Beach in IL. Finally got a spot, but only after this "Super Trucker" decided to start an argument with me about my location. Was only stopped, not parked; but they didn't want to hear it. I needed a sec to check my options, as in where best to go. I yielded and moved, got around the lot and seen my golden chance. A spot!!! Two other drivers got out to assist me in. 1 stood in the spot and saved it, while I lined up for a safe approach, non-blind side back.
They were my heroes that night. :yes2557:
