Most of them have you get a notarized statement that a friend or someone has to sign saying what you were doing. In the question for new drivers forum there a several threads and posts about work history.

Do you by chance know why those 7 or 8 people didn't get hired? Didn't study enough, etc? I'm going to call Monday and this company looks great, but I am kind of terrified that I'll be one of the people that, for whatever reason, goes through the class and won't get hired..

I know this is an old thread, but it has brought up a concern that I didn't previously have. My son is severely disabled and went through a 2 year in home therapy that required a parent to participate and be present. This caused me to have a 2 year gap in my work history, I wasn't even able to draw unemployment(got denied because I quit instead of being laid off or fired). Other than the documentation I have from this program, I have nothing to show for those 2 years. I put this gap on in my unemployment history when I applied, and I have been employed this past year(currently unemployed going on 6 months now). Would it be best to show up with a notarized letter explaining this 2 year gap?

It wouldn't hurt... And shows willingness to go the extra step. You might also ask your recruiter if it is necessary, they might say no need.dfaf Thanks this.

"Won't hurt.." was my argument when I presented the idea to my wife, but in a way she's right, if I don't need to spend the money on a document that's money saved. I'll definitely add this question to my list of "need to knows". Thanks.

If I remember right it's only $12-15, something like that... So not too big of a hit... However I have been where $15 in my pocket makes a big difference in if we ate or made it to work... Not a fun place to be!dfaf Thanks this.

Lady K, are you a trainer with CR, I will be coming to Utah in January, brrrrrr. I can't wait to get back to work, I been off for two month now, getting to retire from the military and get back to truck driving. Thanks for all the information

Every time I go to reply I write a novel and over share on personnel matters... this is my third attempt at writing a reply.
Thank you. I think peace of mind is priceless so shelling out a few bucks would be well worth it. I'll still give my Recruiter a call, no harm in asking, don't see much harm in showing up with a notarized document either. -
I'm not brave enough to be a trainer!! I team with my husband ... So maybe I am a 'trainer' of sorts ... LOL!
