At a no-name truck stop just south of Fresno because some keyboard pounding monkey (KPM) sent me to pickup at a customer who's closed on Sunday on.....you guessed it......Sunday. So then said KPM tries to get me to DH 180 miles to the Pilot in Castiac......which I refused.
So I got the original load put back on me. This time it has no pickup or delivery times because said KPM hasn't the brains (or balls) to assign one. I messaged Lewiston and told them I would be at the customer @ 0600 Monday (it's a D&H) and deliver it it at the original time. -
At least us bottom feeders can read and write in plain english....inkeper Thanks this.

I hate that Pilot and there is never a spot to park even at 1200, I prefer the Lebec FlyingJ where you can find plenty of parking even during the night and most of the time you can even get a pull through. -
I'm in SC, and happy.
Why?
Jimmie Johnson just won the 6-Pack.inkeper Thanks this. -
Winslow, AZ. Finally when got around Grants the wind finally died down to a nice 5mph, and changed directions, out of the NW. It was something else between Santa Rosa and Moriarty. Well now have to decide, since del at 0230 in morning, stop in Barstow, Hesperia and 15 miles from the del, Fontana. I think Fontana, that why I can get me a load out of there going to PHX for home time after talking to the planners. One owes me a big favor.

Take it easy, he asked a question, and did not insult anyone, no reason to get all hostile over it.

got a preplan at 6am to pickup in southgate and deliver to buckeye az. accepted it and ask for a mt. sent me to 2 places without any empties available. then sat for 45 minutes waiting. so drove over to mira loma terminal to use restroon. walked around and foound an mt there. was calling fontana when the sent a preplan to pick up a tcall at mira loma and live load in ontario. they said that way i can get an empty for the other load. at same time they said i was tcalling that buckeye load in mira loma. got to ontario around 10. 2 hrs early and hoping they unload me. nope, he said to wait till 12. so read a book and went in at 12 and the guy had me drop the trailer and grab an empty. so i wasted 6 hrs today for an empty. drove and got the other load and tcalled it. found another empty and grabbed it and set pta for tomorrow morning. sat at fontana watching the broncos game.

Douglas, GA.
Soon after dropping my load at Walmart I got 3 pplans.
The first picked up tomorrow at 1500 and the first stop delivered ~210 miles away at 0530 the next morning.
I have 5 hours left on my 70, with none coming in tomorrow, and the pu is at least 2 hours away - so with pre-trip time I'll be down to no more than 2 hours of drive time once I get loaded.
Since my time won't come in until 0300 local time, and the load is going to the Atlanta area, well, I refused it with a first stop delivery time of 0900.
No way to get through Atlanta area quickly through any rush hours time.
And if they want to give me less time than is legally possible, I'll pad the time a little more just in case.
The other 2 were just as bad, trying to use every single hour I have coming in based on 60 MPH with no breaks or pre-trips or anything else.
I got a message from a planner questioning if I was actually saying that I could not deliver the 0530 load until 0900, just before all three were removed.
I'm ignoring her question.
Then a few minutes later I get another pplan, picking up at the same place (P&G in Augusta, GA) on the 20th at 0300 and delivering 220 miles away at 1800 the same day for a live unload.
I'm like... WTF!!!??? that is over 14 hours but under the time needed for a ten.
As I was figuring the time that I wanted to pick up the pre-loaded trailer, it also was removed.
I swear, these planners need to be drug tested more often.
