Western Flyer Express will use you as a fifth wheel !

I must tell ye all about WFE. I just left after a year. At first its was great miles all the time, I was making good money and had a new truck and I was happy as a otr driver could be. The only bad issue I was having was with a bad DM, but after a month I was told she just got up and yelled a lot and ran out. Well, I thought that's strange but cool. Next Dm I got was a stressed out older woman but I was getting miles so I made the best of it. So I had her for almost 9 months until I was told that she also got up one day and started yelling and ran out like the last one. Well, I asked my new DM what is going on in the office there that the DM turn over is hire then the driver turn over. I was told that no one will stay there because of the op manager. He is a little feminine man named Carlin. I really never seen him before because he is always behind a curtain were you cant see him. I was told and started to find out more when I didn't want to lose a 2200 mile trip to do a swap. You see Drivers, he don't like our kind, matter of fact he don't even like the office people. WFE likes teams more then solos, and are now running the solos as team support, solo gets load and will swap to team truck, even though you will lose miles. So I was told by Carlin and his Minnie me Jerry that they did not care about my miles or me and that if I don't do what they said I would be put out of the truck where I was and to find my way home. They also tell you the same thing when you refuse to run Dallas local all day for 40$. They have went from good to bad and will treat you as dirt. When you quit they will charge your last check for any reason they can think of. My truck was Marine Corps clean and they charged me 250$ for cleaning. They also pay every 2 weeks so they can hurt you bad. And as all of the other bottom feeders they will tell you what you want to get you in a truck. Also the week I quit 15 other drivers did to, and also my DM also quit. My friend that is still there said yesterday a mesg came over QC that they cant find 7 trucks and gave the truck numbers out to look for them. I guess the drivers ripped out the QC so they could not find there trucks. Drivers are dropping WFE trucks all over the country so if you do go to work there you will need to repo your WFE truck, im sure you will be pleased with it.

 

OK, Using you as a fifth wheel is a metaphor for bending the driver over. You know, king pin in fifth wheel, DUH!!

 

No, theres a DM that I still talk to there, they think that it is funny also.
