CM12884 - Most of us share the same story at CRST, I had only 3 decent weeks of pay in 8 months, they charge $4 for each advance and they deduct 2 cent for every mile because of the per diem, I only have 2 weeks left, I stayed because I know trucking is much better then CRST. Your boyfriend is half way through, it is a little better after his raise at 6 months, his pay goes up 1/3, all I can say is look beyond CRST good luck.

Hey "Gramps"...good idea to get all your endorsements. I did the same when I got my CDL. However, when it was time to renew it was just after the 9-11 tragedy. Anyhow, DMV did not renew my Hazmat. They asked for another test and $95 for background check, fingerprinting etc. I told them where to put it since I never used it. NOW....I wish I would have renewed the Hazmat. Having all endorsements opens up a lot more doors. Please do yourself a favor and keep all of your endorsements.
    Good Luck to you Sir!!
