It is called CoPilot Live. Trucker's edition. http://copilotlive.com/us/truck/

You might also want to look at getting a GPS receiver ( the one in the pic below is GlobalSat BU-353 about $35, shipping included):

Does Streets and Trips do satellite view though? Last I looked it was just the normal gps line view. He did ask for offline satellite view, and as far as I'm aware no offline program has satellite view. Of course it has been a couple years since i looked...

http://www.delorme.com/ has a gps that you can load with maps, sat pics, or even topo maps. It was not designed for truckers and the screen is really tiny but, the technology is out there. Its just not practical for what the OP is asking for.

There are several apps for android and ios that can download all of he satellite maps and stuff... No telling how big those files would be for satellite coverage of the entire US though. And you'd need a memory card for Android or an ios device with a lot of memory. Almost cheaper to just invest in a smart phone with a data plan.

Streets and trips gives you a map with directions it does not do gps turn by turn but will tell you where your turn is. It also is usefull when doing preplanning as you can calculate shortest route and where your fuel/ overnight stops will be. You can also save your routes to file. Best thing you don't need a internet connection
