The O/O I drive for is trying to dispatch and drive too. Because he can't sit in front of a computer while driving he is letting CH Robinson find loads for him and screw him at $1.00 a mile. I found a company on Craigslist looking to lease on O/O. I called and liked what I heard from the driver's side so I had the O/O call and I guess he liked what he heard too. We are going there when I get back. I'm not sure if it is average $1.70 a loaded mile or pay $1.70 a loaded mile. They do everything (telephone dispatch, plan, fuel discount, paper logs) and all I do is drive. No touch, no Hazmat. O/O supplies equipment, uses their authority and gets a check every week. O/O will make more money and have fewer paperwork headaches.
