Barstow, CA. By the time that I got the truck all nice and clean, there was not enough time to get to Fontana and get a 10 due to rush hour starting down there in Hesperia. One offer on MAC 30, pu at 1300 in Ontario, no idea if preload or not, but considering my clock is starting at 1230 morning, and if it was a live load, then I was screwed.

    I don't do splits.
I need my sleep, and 8 hours between driving times would be dangerous for me.

They sent it again and I adjusted the pu time, then accepted it with my times.

    tsssssk stealing my trailers ;)

only did 1 trailer today, I have not slept much in the last 2 nights being home with a fussy toddler. I was feeling pretty drowsy by the time I got back into Adelanto so im just going to get a nice good rest then shoot for 3 trailers tomorrow. Parked at the little truck stop in Adelanto, I like this place since its never full and its always very quiet compared to that Pilot in Hesperia.

Coming off a 34. Noon pickup in Chambersburg, PA to Allentown, then a pickup in Jersey back to Chambersburg. 413 miles, on the short side of average today.

Dedicated accounts pay decently and are predictable, but do get boring. I'm getting to know every bump and turn on I-81/I-78/I-76. On the other hand, one of the waitresses at the Greencastle TA did notice my absence at breakfast the other day...

    dptrucker Thanks this.

picked up the tcall load in mira loma and once again(third time here) i get no scale tix from other driver. load is 42000 lbs. i always scale it anyways just to make sure i'm legal. but it be nice to know for sure its not over gross. called my new dl and he made alot of excuses why other driver didn't go. i told him theres no excuse since there a t/s 2-3 miles from here.

It's funny how we get so many t-call loads that don't have a scale ticket on loads that require it, yet I am required to provide it each time.
    Why is that?

This always annoyed me. I don't know how many times I had picked up T-call loads, in my first truck 2008 Prostar, that were over gross... My 2nt truck, a 2013' Prostar, was almost always lighter than other trucks (read small gutless engine). Not once was did I grab a T-called load that read overgross.... I did get a few there were over on the tandems...
