Hey folks ,
I am starting to realize that NH is limited in choices for a potential new driver . I've encountered enough mega carrier companies that take on brand new cdl grads as well as company training that say ' We don't hire in NH ' or ' We are not "currently" hiring in NH '
It is NOT a hot bed of freight lanes by any means , and it could potentially be worse than southern Florida .
Im wondering where you NH residents started your careers at , and how you transitioned from that first company to your next/current .

Where in NH do you live? I think it makes a huge difference if you are In Salem compared with Littleton? I lived in Claremont from 95' to 04'. I worked for Schneider, JB Hunt and M.S. Carriers before I smartened up and found much better paying local work. I got so fed up with Southern New England and I95 that I eventually moved to Iowa to escape that rat race! I'm not kidding either. bottom line if your up North your going to have to take what you can get. Maybe a regional carrier like Bellavance out of VT or one of the Maine companies, Pottles or Heart.

C&S is headquartered in Keene. JB Hunt is doing their groceries now. Also UNFI in Chesterfield is a good job if you don't mind unloading the product. Mclane is in over near concord up 89. Can't remember the town ..contocook or something.
