Still sitting here in Portland at Jubitz.:biggrin_25512:
Who hauls a lowboy ld. legal wght and about 2" over height for 1.96 a mile gross?
Wasn't on the board 45 mins. and it was gone.
Several others like a Boeing ld. 11' w full tarps 2 crates from Wa. to Sc. Big dollars, was told it paid 6700.00
I told them I hauled basicly same weight and hgt. about 2500 miles for a whole lot more money than that offer for all most 3000 miles. Oh, how about a bus from Wa. to the north side of Chicago for 5500.00??

I'm really tempted to hd. this trk. east and just dh back to the midwest

Loaded some racks at the original Model T plant in Detroit and kicked them off in Kentucky. Headed up to the Speedco in Whiteland, IN and got the service done. Decided to go get the truck and wagon washed and now I'm at the J. Loading some hazmat in the morning headed for Madison, WI then grab a truck in Oshkosh and head back to Lexington.
    Busy busy busy

I hate sending trucks to the left coast. There is nothing between there and the MW that pays decent. I had 2 trucks in Poulsbo, WA a couple weeks ago. We managed to do okay, but it felt more like luck anything.

Don't know if it would work on a step. No dock I think, and even then I would'nt haul it for that low of money..
Maybe I'm not looking at the figures right, but too me still to cheap

You want cheap, call on those Genie Lifts - you'll think that Boeing rate Mercer is offering is high. (I'm assuming Mercer because they are the latest prostituter of Boeing freight. I recently ran with one of their trucks hauling the exact same load I was and the truck was getting paid the same as I was as just a driver and this guy was giddy about the money he was making. )

No not Mercer, The Sc. was the big blue star and then the bus was 2 different compaines posting the ld. BNSF was 500 cheaper than the other.
Sad thing is somebody took the bus, as it's not on the board anymore.
Then I called on a ld. this morning going to Mi. from Wa. and it was gone in 5 mins..

Yeah I see guys hauling those cheap lifts every time I go out there, and I don't understand why. I only go out there when I can get big money, but I'm not going to blow it buy hauling something cheap. I'd rather sit at Jubitz and eat a couple of those delicious deli sandwiches waiting to find a load.
