This is for Shippers, Carriers, and Agents stay far-far away from One Horn Transportation, or you will be scammed! They advertise for agents to join their company ask a lot of questions, their back office software was created by the owner 8+ years ago (antiquated), who does their carrier relations? what are their carrier restrictions? No night dispatch, no rapid credit check, no Com Chek, office open M-F 8-6. The company is certified WBE/MBE/SBE but they don't do government contracts, DOD, or Utilies. DispatcherJudi will reply because she works for OHT and runs another of their scams, but that will help keep this thread where it belongs!

Wow, I don't know what company you were dealing with, but we've hauled for One Horn Transportation, and never had a problem. Pay is decent, and quick. Good communication and pleasant to deal with. With detention they've been "fair" not great, but "fair".

And I am talking about the One Horn Transportation based out of NJ.

My company uses one horn all the time to load trucks. The drivers who pick up at my place don't seen that upset with one horn. We use a few others too.

Dont waste your time. They double Booked a load I was on and then when I show up as instructed and after a 125 mile deadhead, I was told by the shipper that the load I was given was shipped out the day before. I was also told that the Broker Terrie Hales was given this info. When I told them that I expect a TONU fee and was told since its not in writing that they wont pay. So if you do business with them they play games.
