I was just there and delivered. I had a 2300 appt for 20 Nov 13 and Docked around 0130. They finished me around 0345 with an ###### yard dog driver pounding on my truck. I gave the lady inside a piece of my mind about the difference between knocking and pounding, and reminded her that nobody called my phone ( like they said ). The guard told me that some people had been there since 11/18 waiting to get unloaded. A few companies told their drivers to leave and take the product to another location.

IF you are a lease operator, you get detention. If you are there for more than 24hrs, your FM might be able to get you layover pay. Never heard of Holiday pay. If you are company, just wait. I think someone will answer that soon. (CHUCKIE ! ! ! ! !)

I am now at the yard in Pittston until after lunch. Headed to Watertown NY tonight.

 

talk to your recruiter. By law your previous employer is required to verify your employment. You might have to get pay stubs or tax documents to show that you worked there. If you had a contract, you should have your contract and termination notice to prove your work history. These are just guesses, but they are good ones

Got my truck assignment today so I feel like a prime driver now. Sitting at the campus waiting for morning for my truck to be ready.
