Where is everyone #2!!

Carl, everything this week is going to ship for cheap because the holiday is coming up and guys are taking whatever to get home. Next week tho will be a different story, as rates will start to go up to get stuff moved. And the crazy rates should hit the board Wed thru Fri as that's the "oh crap we need to ship this" rate. I usually make the most $$ when I babysit a load over a holiday.

 

I do understand that. But when some body tells me I got a ld. please keep your word..
When we were younger we told the girl we were with," No baby I won't come in there". Opps to late, but we all have grown up and this is bussiness not pleasure.
The stupid rates have been really bad out here.
One of the reasons I really don't like coming out here.
We made good money on the ld. here and even if I bounce all the way to Ia. I will still be ok..
I will not haul freight just to pay my fuel

Ok, My rant is over. Stepping off the soap box now and shuffle away....

 

Lets hear about the truck

 

2007 W900L, two tone green, its sharp! 625 CAT, 18spd, GVWR is 80,000lbs, 4 axle tractor. Motor overhauled this year, warranty until 2016. Price is reasonable.

 

Just loaded half trailer near the house, 10K# and paid almost what I wanted for full load to go to Long Island for Monday. Back at home looking for partials. Nothing practical to load any where for tomorrow so far. Gonna hang with some friends Saturday in Pigeon Forge, TN on the way up.

It beats the $3200 heavy to CT or the $3100 heavy and 8ft drops to Laredo I was offered. The good stuff eventually comes. Patience wins.

The powers that be in the office to give me their blessing, its a big step up to go from a 5 axle to a 7+
