This is all befoe taxes but expect 400/wk during training and once you first go solo about 600-800.
Once you get 6 months-1 year experience you can usally get on some form of dedicated account for around 800-1000/wk -
There are exactly as many drivers running regional as there are jobs available running regional. Do you think they just make up regional jobs per demand?
Usually you need to have some OTR experience to get a regional position as they are more desirable and there are normally more drivers that want a regional position then there are jobs available. Sometimes you can get lucky and get regional job right out of school but there is no guarantee of it. -
It only have two driver training schools in my area. One is diesel driving academy with is two high and the other is coastal driving school, also on the steep side.

Try the local community colleges near you. Most all of them will be able to offer you some sort of financial aid program....they'll help walk you through that process if you just take the time to ask.Chinatown Thanks this.

Some drivers, like me, don't want regional or local. We prefer running coast to coast. You don't necessarily make more running regional, sometimes much less than OTR due to shorter runs, then waiting to unload or load then next delivery then wait for next load, etc. Depends on the type of trucking. Food service and tanker is best if you want regional.
