I made a shelf over the passenger's seat for the microwave in my 2013 cascadia. Sits on top of the little bulk head just below the storage pockets on the front and side above passenger's door. I used 2 L brackets and secured them by replacing the 2 factor screws holding the plastic panel above passenger's door with longer screws. Then bungeed down microwave by putting 4 small eye bolts through self. Works really well and utilizes space otherwise not used. Even leaves headroom for passenger. Drivers side I attached a paper towel rack using one of the same mount screws and double sided tape.

My truck has a modular sleeper so I am fixing to buy a 2nd aerodyne II that I am going to rebuild the cabinet on the curb side to house a refrigerator and a microwave, as well as some drawers to store food and utensils in.

My last truck was 387. Since my fridge was a 1/2" too wide I had to figure something out. My truck cabinets I discovered each wall is an individual piece bolted together to form the box cabinet. With that in mind I took the bottom door off and the front panel behind the drivers seat. That opened it up enough for me to put my dorm fridge in that hole and had enough room to put my microwave on top of the fridge. I took a 3' designer bungee strap I had and secured the microwave down. I still had the back panel in place and the drivers seat to prevent any side views. It looked pretty darn good and suited me great as they were out of the way. I could sit on the bunk and take something out of the fridge and pop it in the microwave while still sitting.

I also had one of them wooden folding TV dinner tables one can use in their living room. I kept that behind the passenger seat. I used it a lot for my laptop or for preparing food or eating. They are handy in a truck.

The top bunk I removed the mattress and it makes one big shelf with sides. Up there I kept my baggage and about 300 DVDs for them long layovers. On the passenger covey hole I had my 19" flat panel wedged in there perfect. I didn't need a bungee cord or mount as it was the perfect size to wedge anyway I wanted too. I kept the DVD player under it and the amplified antenna behind it. The rest of the cabinets were my clothes and food and miscellaneous stuff. When I turned the truck in I simply put everything back together. It was maybe 12-15 torx screws.

My 2500 watt inverter was mounted on the floor behind the drivers seat which is right above the batteries. The fridge and microwave were right there so that was an easy plug in. For the other side of the truck I used a 12' extension cord. I ran it behind the fridge and under the front side of the mattress and back up the other corner. Almost totally out of sight as I ran it behind the cabinet to the TV where I had a power strip for everything. Out of all my trucks that was my favorite set up.

nice idea, I have a few of these tables at home for whenever we had company, might grab one when I go home for thanksgiving. I would love a fridge and microwave in my truck but my stupid company doesnt allow a hard wired inverter so im stuck with a coleman extreme 5 day ice chest and a 12v oven and butane stove for cooking.

I have never had a microwave or fridge.Guess my company has fridges and APUS in all their otr trks. But one thing you might consider is a matress pad. Those beds have little or no support.I learned my lesson.I had a back ache for weeks.Slept like a baby with a matress pad.

another thing that helps if your driving a truck with a top bunk and your solo then take the mattress and stick it on the bottom, my last truck when I got it the other person had 4 mattress's in it, 3 on the bottom and 1 on top, it was a lot more comfortable for sure. My new freight has a different size bed on the top so I cant do the same, have thought about a memory foam topper.

Now that's an idea using 2 matresses..Memory foam is also a necessity,I had both foam and matress pad.
