CRST Van Expedited hits 11.5 foot bridge in Kansas City MO on US 24/Independence ave. This happens way too often. Trucks with 13.6 Trailers need to check their Motor Carriers Atlas for low bridges/weight restricted roads. On that particular road the bridge is marked with a sign 11.5 foot and there is a place to turn around in the CVS parking lot if coming from the East, and if coming from the west you can turn around in the Price Chopper parking lot or you can Chopp-up your Trailer and your Career, thank you!

Isn't there like a million signs and flashing lights before this particular bridge?

A low bridge on a 4 lane US Highway is a good idea.
