Pulled CDL HELP!!

If you are in NC like my ESP tells me then you have a 30 day grace period to get your butt down to DMV and they will restore your CDL. After 30 days you have to retest.

Each state is different. If not the right state then post the state so we can answer you.

Never trust a company to take care of your personal business. If one has their company pay a fine on a loan payback agreement you better be getting on the phone and verify they did pay it. I've seen this mistake several times. The self certifying there is no reason why you shouldn't do it yourself. Many states you can do it online. A few you have to go in person.

The FMCSA told all states what they wanted. It's up to each state to make their own laws to get this accomplished. That's why many states have different methods and penalties.

This happened to me I was on the road stuck with a broke down truck, I got home got my DOT Physical took the letter the the CMV DMV devision and away I went with a new DOT for another while. I don't think it is a big deal depending on who you are dealing with, I would take all of the information with you and do it like you know how! ETA: what is the point of filling out 3 sheets at the psychical office? 1 clearly says DOT on it. Stupid DMV / DOT needs the enhanced version. Go pound sand.

The company didn't send in the new Medical Car to DMV is a poor excuse...after 12 years you should know better.

 

Agree about the company sending it in. It's your responsibility. Blame yourself OP. I'm sending in mine soon aka when i feel like it. I know dang well monday will get my letter now lol
Now boggles my mind to find that outdated thing called a fax machine then enhance it so the old foggys can read it. /yourself DOT.DMV

 

Our driver had a current med card in his pocket..

 

Assuming we still have to carry the med card at all times like a License, After we enhance it x5,000 billion to DMV /DOT ?

Hmm thats weird, it says on their website that everyone have till January 30th of 2014 to upgrade their license with new medical cards

I also got the letter in mail 4-6 weeks ago saying to copy my current medical card and send it back. I thought that was weird since mine expires in march next year but i did send it in.

I will go to DMV first chance i get just make sure they got it lol
