Oakley got in trouble many many years ago for hauling chemicals in a food grade trailer. A lot of places won't load you unless you have the cleanout slip from the tank wash, and it says what was in the trailer before they cleaned it.

I would not think a company like IRT would even come close to violating something like that. If you ever listen to TRUCKTWOTIMES podcasts you find that they are a decent company. They are very reputable.

Hey Guys, I just quit Indian River Transport last week, main reason is the base mileage pay of 32 cpm the bonuses are hard to get for some, if you don't have a good bowl of gravy you will have to work extra hard to get one, the ones that continously get them I imagine have some good gravy

to get the milage bonuses you have to keep a 6 mpg or above not for just the month you get the bonus but because they pay a bonus i.e. for the miles run in November a month and a half later you must still maintain the 6 mpg or above

even if you have the miles and don't get the mpg there will be no bonus

I got a bonus the first two months, after you prove you can get the 6 mpg the road speed is set at 75 if you drop below 6 mpg it goes to 65 mph till you get it back up

it is possible to get the 6 mpg driving 65 loaded and 70 mt and very little idle time

some of the miles pay are household some are practicle some are I don't know what

you do have a nice large car to drive though, I disclosed all my experience with them in my podcasts including my paychecks, I like driving and work hard, but still found hard to make a steady good paycheck, the family insurance cost me $160.00 a week

I just couldn't afford to work there anymore with the cost of living like it is, nothing against the folks there, they are making money themselves

How is MDS? I saw one of their Volvos and it looked nice. Very beautiful colors and it looks like they take care of their equipment.

I worked there two years before I made the mistake of jumping the fence, MDS is as good as Trucking gets, other than having to go to the east coast I love it there, but one has to take the bad with the good, I know all my runs can't be to Gods Country

Morristown Drivers Service. It is company based out of Morristown,TN. Truckertwotimes knows more can explain it better. They do haul heavy equipment down south for I saw one of tractors on a layover at rest area by my apartment complex. It was parked at the wickham rd Walmart layover rest area. I pulled up and noticed the tractor was in good condition. No fenders damaged, no odd colored fairings and it looked clean.
