    If those companies intrest you,

    go for it.

    Personally,

I'd check into companies like Southern Pride Transport, in Clermont.

Some of us prefer to be treated as an asset to the company...........

My husband worked with them for a while. He was making $895 gross a week average and was home on time almost every week. They run pretty much dedicated (some runs vary coming back) and the way they run you have a short week and a long week, alternating. On his short week he was home two full days and on the long week basically home for his reset.

Unless you get the dreaded "flowers run" that nobody wants to do. If you get it (whoever is reading) make it very clear that you're only willing to do it legally, which means you're not going to get up and help your partner while your log says you're in the sleeping berth. That's the only issue they have, but it's a biggie.

I don't know much about their solo runs, but I know they make less money and I think they're home less time.
