I do the same thing. If the times change and I can't make it.

 

Back here at the hotel. Went to get the truck and walked back into the sleeper, and the carpet WAS soaked. No one actually walked into it and checked. the service manager came out to the truck with me and looked. Then also noticed that when they changed my drive tires, they did not remount on my original rims, instead, just put on old rims, so they had to pull them and remount.

While at the terminal, saw one of out company Mentors, and this guy is such a PITA. This one company driver was trying to talk to 3 of us LO about the program, and this one had to just keep butting in and be a naysayer. He is the type that just irritates me. He was telling the driver that he will need to team or Mentor if he wants to make it. The 3 of us are all solo.

 

Indiana on I-65 at a Pilot, somewhere about 60 miles from an 0800 delivery tomorrow.

My last delivery actually washed out the trailer after they unloaded.
I guess they didn't want to leave puddles of battery acid behind, as I was hauling batteries to be recycled and I noticed some leakage when I opened the doors.

After this load I've been stacked with 2 pplans, the second delivering in Texas at 1900 on Thanksgiving for a live unload.
I'll be giving the receiver a call before then, just to make sure they are not closed that day.

 

got a preplan picking up in rialto and had 3 stops with final in fernley nv. dl said i was going to deliver the 1st stop(1000 appt) and tcall the rest in mira loma. got to shipper and swift didn't send p/unumber. spent an hour dealing with this. finally got out of there after calling planner about being late for 1st delivery. she said she would call and change the appt. time to 1100 which i said i could make.got in line at 1100 and waited about an hr before i got to guardshack. spent another 1.5 hrs waiting to get a delivery number, after i got that, they said appt. time was 1900 tonite. planner never sent me new tims. dl said to go to mira loma to tcall. i would have had no hours left by then

 

I really hate those kind of days.

 

never read the books and yes seen both movies, my wife told me today she read both of the books awhile back. I dont read much these days and those are books that wouldnt of caught my eye anyway. I was into stuff like Stephen King and my mother was too so we would read and swap books for years. I do not have the patience or time to read these days so I dont bother.

 

I downloaded a Nook reader to my phone and read about five books a week. (Trust me; everyone needs a little Nookie.) I've pretty much kicked the tv habit and find reading helps me unwind far better than anything else at the end of my day. Btw, did you read King's book about the JFK assassination and the guy who went back in time to try to prevent it. Excellent book!

I read the entire Hunger Games series and enjoyed it but don't have much desire to see the movies. There have been few movies that were as good as the book.

Mrs Steve Witchy, is your avatar from Olivia's Betty Paige collection? It looks familiar but its hard to make out on a smartphone screen.

 

I didnt read that book, think its been about 7 years since I quit reading

 

11.23.63? I'm almost done with that book. So no spoilers! LOL. That new one of his, the sorta sequel to the shining, is really good. Check it out if you havent already. Doctor Sleep.
