Are you lowering your standards? I can't believe that customer paid SHC money. Only kidding...seriously though stay out of my gravy or next time you load next to a PAPE truck you might leave with a flat tire! I'll put an APB out on a certain blue flat top WS. How was the weather coming back across 80? We got 3 inches in DBQ. Made things a little greasy this morning.

 

thats a a good place. Ran a boatload of hubs there last spring-fall. Spent quite a few evenings at Oscars. There's a liquor store back there too (part of my healthcare plan when I feel illness coming on) there was something weird about that TA restaurant, so I always went to Oscars.

Things are fine. Would like to be busier, but we are learning a few new tricks. Even getting some work back that we lost to cheaper prices. I guess we'll see what happens after the first of the year.

Unloaded my 12' wide in Moses Lake yesterday morning at 05:00, was out the gate and on 90 headed west at 05:12 (This Boeing facility does things a little different than most of the others, faster). Made it to the yard at 9:00, got a full service knocked out on the truck and at exactly 12:00 my 12' wide back to Kansas pulled in. I swapped gear with the local driver and hit the gate at 12:20. Made it to Post Falls where I'm at now. Won't be home quite in time for Turkey day but should be there by mid afternoon (going east with oversize this time of year s$$$s, lucky to get 9 hours of driving with that stupid 30 minute break).

But looks like my holiday festivities are going to be an overnight and gone again affair. DM already said she would have a 12' or 14' wide sitting there waiting on me Friday morning going to either Everett or Charleston. Guess I'll have to wait and see what and where but looks like I'll be turning and burning and oversize somewhere.

 

Make sure that APB specifies "FLATTOP" please!

Looks like I'll going to hang out in Wichita, KS for the evening. Hopefully I can find something to get me out of here and back to the house for the weekend.

Are there any decent places to park around here. I couldn't find much. I'm sitting at a KwikShop for now. I'll probably head down to Okie City soon.
