Sunco has lost that before and gotten it back... But it is interesting

 

How is the mileage pay working out? I am thinking about doing Midwest regional.

 

There is not many of us here on mileage pay

 

IMO .....Mileage pay does not work ......I believe all new hires are mileage.....if they used actual miles it would make a big difference. When I get a load ...they tell me say 625 miles....but when I run it, it is actually 700....so right there is a 8-10% difference......so when they say $1.00 a mile......take 10% off of that....it is more like .90 a mile.
I think they use the small practical miles....just smoke and mirrors......It should be more like $1.05 all miles, +FSC and 100% detention....just my 2 cents...

 

The trop guys seem to be doing well on mileage same with north east... But your gonna get a lot more miles, and the scale is different on those 2 fleets... I have averaged as high as 1.81 all miles (odometer) a month on percentage... Also as low as $1.20 my average since being leased onto sunco is $1.43 on odometer miles... There is no way they are gonna come close to that paying a dollar thirty something on dispatched miles...

 

Well detention is paid to us at 70%.....Detention is usually when we get screwed......I sat at Walmart this week for 9 hours getting unloaded.....was not late got there before my appointment time......I agree that Sunco should make money but where did they earn any part of me sitting somewhere for 9 hours ? Detention should be all ours at 100%.....and for that matter, extra stops pickup pays too....they take 30% on that......

I hope I don't sound bitter or ungrateful.....especially on this wonderful time of Thanksgiving.....I have been blessed my whole life and thankful to be able to do what I am doing.....Happy Thanksgiving to all.....Praise God!!

FWIW....this is the first Thanksgiving that I will be working in my entire life.....My two oldest boys , out on their own are a ways from me....1-on vac in Hawaii , 2-Philly.....but we are all looking forward to a family Christmas party.....I just need to get a load to Philly around then.......

I am going to do a study.....for the next few months, every load I get I will compare it to mileage and will share my results in the future...

 

Anybody know how to get into Walmart, freedom trl in Gordonsville, Va?
the address won't come up on my GPS or my cell phone ???
