^ From what you have looked at, does .26 off sound like it could be correct? I mean, even just in a scan of what you paid, do you see a lot of big discounts that could lead to that kind of discount price as an avg?

I became skeptical about the fuel discount claim after looking at the numbers on the "you will make money, big money" on the fuel surcharge claim.

Those two claims that I thought where false, are two big reasons I stood strong to stay company.

 

I know I sat down with I think it was Ashley that is in charge of fuel
she showed me how Effingham is $.35 off the credit price
it is typical for carriers to get a discount up to $.25
look at the private fuel stop across the street from any pilot
selling fuel for $.30 less then pilot price on the pump
hmmmmmmmm no trucks at the independent 10 trucks fueling every 15 minutes
at the pilot
WHO is buying cheaper

 

The only way you make any money on the Fuel Surcharge is if you can buy fuel for way less than the D.O.E. National Average that Trans Am Leasing gives out every week.

 

Yea...me and Luke don't really get along. We more tolerate each other lol but Julie is good and Sam is awesome. But I also get good miles with Sam and she does everything in her power to make sure my needs are met. I just run my *** off for her and in return she takes care of me...until night/weekend dispatch screws it all up lol Like now I'm preplanned to pick up first thing tomorrow here in NE and headed to Mass just to boost my miles for the week.. I consider myself very fortunate to have a DM like her. (honey badger Idk how you felt about Tanner but me and him didn't really work out either...kinda glad he's in safety now) lol

Yep. Off I-4 exit 44 .... aka Loves. That truck stop is always filled to the gills with TransAm trucks.

ReeferMadness, I dont have anything against Tanner. He hasnt always been the most usrful individual, but for me he isnt on the same boat as Luke and Dana!
