Drove through snow for about 5 hours this morning in PA on the Turnpike. Sure was pretty though. Less snow as we travel west.

That happened with my APU earlier this year. I was afraid that it might be the alternator, because Thermoking charges $$$ for alternators! I got underneath the APU and found that a connector on the lead wire had broken. Removed wire, crimped on a new, heavier-duty connector and replaced. Done. I hope that your fix is so easy!

I'm betting it'll be just that stupid.

The day just isn't getting better. Sighted tanks during pretrip and fuel guage said 1/4 tank. That jived with what I saw but 100mi later, 1.5mi from the terminal, I was sitting on the side out of fuel. To add insult to injury I curbed the steer tire getting out of traffic on a 2 lane road. Took the company 3hrs to get me going. Remember 1.5mi from their terminal. Got read the riot act for running out of fuel, but if I did fuel in the morning they wouldve read me the riot act for fueling before coming in.

Now I'm at a shipper that's building the pallets as they go in the truck. 1.25hrs and none pallets loaded. Called dispatch and told them these guys will probably run me out of hours on their dock. Thats in 4hrs...

That's trucking. Todays my day to eat the pooh sandwich.

Nope...not yet anyway...still knocking the dust of my OTR skills.

3hrs and 6 pallets in the truck. At this blistering pace I'll be around 1-2am. Only a 19hr day...

The shipper didn't run me out on the dock. They were generous and left me with 15min to find a safe haven. Very kind.

I felt stupid because the closest place I could park was 13mi from the terminal. But with the way my day went if I ran it in a unicorn wouldve jumped out in front of me. That or a meteorite wouldve hit me.

But Happy Stuff You Face Day! I'm thankful yesterdays over, lol.
