I have stayed at sapp bros. wasn't to bad. If wanting to watch the game I liked the wheat ridge solution, getting drivers to agree on anything in tv room is ridiculous.

I stayed at that Sapp Bros. one time. Every time I got out of the truck people were chasing me down in the parking lot trying to sell me perfume and cologne. I did get a laugh out of how one of the X's in the XXX store in the parking lot was burned out.wore out Thanks this.

I can vouch for the Denver West T/A. There's a sports bar right behind it. You'll probably have to pay for a reserved 0spot though - all of the Denver truck stops are always full. At least they were all full both times I went to Denver.

Bar across from the road from TA west is in the basement of the Howard Johnsons and is called Scotty's. I broke down in Denver and was there for their grand opening. I don't remember what my bar tab was but when I walked in the next night the girls bartending asked me if I wanted to know how much I spent. I politely declined and asked for a beer.
wore out Thanks this. -
personally i like the tomahawk on I70
restaurant is ok
plenty of parking
and a tv room
probably not the "best" showers -
Any driver who drinks while out on the road should be fired and have CDL revoked.
It sickens me how many drivers like that are taking up jobs that could be held by old timers who had a clue about the job.Last edited by a moderator: Nov 28, 2013

Thats a little harsh IMO I don't drink much at all any more none on the road. I believe you can go to the bar not drink and watch a ball game I think. And if your layed over long as you lay off day before whats the diff in being at home. Don't really have a dog in the race but have noticed several standing on pedestals preaching the gospel lately. Only to read in other threads they are doing what they preach about. Not saying you are but read a little closer before flapping your jowls.

Must have been there about the same time I'm just a poor hillbilly took me forever to figure out what xx meant then it hit me one burned out.
MJ1657 Thanks this. -
I like the Sapp Brothers. Food is really good and the showers were impressive. Didn't get bugged by anyone in the parking lot. My cousins Wendy and Tracy live in Denver and I gave them a tour of my truck. Couldn't help but notice every eyeball in the parking lot was on us as we climbed inside my truck, lmao!
