    I have a '99 western star with a bad 3406E ser#1LW.I have found a 2006 kw with a good c15 ser#mxs.I was wondering if that c15 would work inplace of my 3406E and if so what do I need to make it work.

    You will need a new wiring harness, ECM, and a reprogram as far as I know. New harness will be fun because you WILL have to move pins around for different connections.

    oil pan clearance, intake pipes...that is going to be one expensive switch. i went from a n14 celect to a celect plus out of a volvo and i had my hands full making it all line up right. Mawk Ind. sells harnesses, i bought one from him..but he was a total #### about it.
