In Georgia if the Officer get you JUST with an open bottle in your truck, believe me, you're in serious trouble. Yet if the package is still unopened, not so serious, because you are going home, so to speak.

I can see that a lot of you guys out there are taking the risk to have some cold one while behind the wheel... If you are not doing it, why you kinda defending it?

No one here is defending anybody who's drinks and drive's.
Would you like ms Ferro to install alcho-loks on all commercial motor vehicles, so every time we want go some where we have to blow something.

    Skydivedavec Thanks this.

Don't get me wrong. I am just another driver in these big Family of Truckers that really concern about safety. Why? I have a friend, that right now he is in one of California State Prison(30 years sentence) because he got involved in an accident with a stupid 4 wheeler, lost control, went right into a McDonald fulled with children; two of them got killed and a bunch with serious injuries. - Now, do you think the accident was his fault? NO Sir, it wasn't. - But when they did all the investigation SOME HOW the investigators said he had some illegal limit of alcohol in his blood, which was a BS to get him behind bars. That's how serious this business is. If I need to do any thing previously before I drive that can prove I have no alcohol on my blood, I would do, whatever it is!

It's called public intoxication. Great way to get picked up by the local cops. Genius!

In this day and age with Obama's militarized police, you can get stopped for anything while walking and not even have to be doing anything wrong.
