Every time you light a tree before December 1st, Bumble drowns a baby reindeer in Christmas Lake

 

Well, didn't win any money last night. But the wife had a few drinks.... and fell asleep on the drive home. So i lost all around lol

 

Got a light from another driver so made it without any police problems. I did however have plenty of door slammers all to happy to tell me I couldn't be out there on a holiday. I finally got tired of trying to explain to them that they didn't know what they were talking about and shut the CB off.

For 19 years now we have picked up our tree the day after Thanksgiving. Christmas is a really big deal at our house so we get the tree and I get all the lights on it Friday evening then Saturday morning the wife makes a big breakfast and the kids decorate the tree.

 

Nice tradition! I am sure your kids will fondly remember that when they grow up.

 

That is an outright lie. Everybody knows that for every tree lit before Dec. 1st that an elf clubs a baby seal with a dead puppy.

 

They do, the oldest is 19 and the youngest is 16. The oldest one lives in Washington now and works at Boeing as a mechanic on 787's but he had to fly down yesterday so he could be here this morning for the tree and he's already headed back to Seattle.

 

I'm going to tell my wife this. She wants to put up all the Christmas crap today and all i want to do is watch the Iron Bowl and nap lol

 

Couldn't you just give him a ride to work?
