Grand Forks in the snow.....
Looks like it will be a royal cluster in the morning. Seems that every blade trailer out there is in here tonight, and all have tomorrow as a loading day!

Peelot in Laramie, WY. Left on time this morning but made the mistake of thinking "wow, there's only 1 truck in line at the Beacon, I can get washed and take my 1/2 hour break at the same time". Well an hour and 20 minutes later I finally get out of there. Some of the salt and road mess is gone but......well it was Blue Beacon.
So on to Colorado with all the people in a hurry to get to their own funerals. I get to Burlington and this state trooper flips around and pulls me into the rest area. He come up to the truck all giddy and happy about the great big ticket he gets to write me for traveling on a holiday weekend. Well I showed him that my permit issued by his state clearly states there is no travel restriction "this" holiday weekend. He then takes all my stuff and I see him in his car on the phone for 10 minutes. I win, he was wrong but just to show his gratitude with my educational lesson in permit reading he offered up a full blown level 1 inspection. I said my day is shot anyway so lets rock and roll (he really didn't offer but I would like to think he was trying to be nice). So I proceed to tell him the truck is 3 1/2 months old and the trailer was set down from a stack in Wichita just Wednesday and has been on the road less than 300 miles.
Passed, made $25 and rolled to Wyoming where the wind is rocking the truck so hard my satellite can't keep locked onto a signal.
