Maybe but not really the point. Whether or not the original post is true or not, the fact is there are guys that cannot relax and "come down" when they get home. Myself, sometimes I need to go straight to the basement and sit in quiet for a while before I deal with the kids and the wife. We've just spent goodness knows how many hours in solitary and sometimes it's not easy to just flip a switch to "normal".

Maybe one of them can benefit from the replies.

It's possible fhat this is a joke... We haven't heard from him in a while... But a true manic episode can look like drugs are involved when they are not. And if they cycle slowly, the episode can last many months.

...oh, and for the guys that take Nyquil....a buddy of mine took that to help him sleep after he crashed his Harley and he got addicted to it. Couldn't sleep without it. Best thing is to exercise somehow. Easier said than done I know.

I know exactly what you're talking abut. that's why is really good to get yourself doing stuff TOGETHER with your family... I don't know, maybe going to places, playing some good games, go bowling, movies, and many other things... I try to get busy in things to make them happy... ABOVE all we pray together and read the Word of God together. Some don't believe that, which I respect, but I do.

I agree. Trust me they are wired when I get home and have a list of things they want to do with me, which we do. And the wife has a list too. But sometimes it's better for everyone if I "decompress" first. I can be a little edgy and that takes the fun out of it.

He says he can't stand human interaction, dreams of suicide etc.......Fits the description of people that go around shooting up schools , malls and who knows what. Just sayin !

OP, Why have you not been back on here ? Why don't you share what company you work at ?

I think this is a hoax from a lonely immature trucker wannabe. Just my $ .02

    Seriously - Get a puppy.

You obviously need attention. You joined TTR to pour out your heart to the world on your first post? I call BS; you did it to get a reaction. So you're a troll or a nutjob - which is it - wait, I don't care.

OPUS 7, DoneYourWay and dennisroc Thank this.

10-4 didn't see your post. You're right tho its not a safe thing to do. I run hard when I'm running but I don't use. Im still young enough I can do that type of crap. But I also know I'm going to feel like I'm 60 by the time I'm 30.
