Roehl Driver Check In Continued

At my company usually twice a year I'll hear how someone is pissed at Coca Cola for not loading their trailer full of chicken blood. I can't believe how snobby Coca Cola is, it's just rancid chicken blood,guts,and by product.

 

Driver do you actually believe that stuff that "Roehl is a smart company and knows how profitable a driver is".

 

In my case I'm run a dedicated account. My customer was closed Thursday and Friday. Once I found out I asked for those 2 days off including my nor,al weekend off. Was told no they had loads to ship Friday. I told them the load (just one) would be loaded and ready Wednesday as the shipper said. Was told I was mis informed the planner said the load will be ready Friday. Went out Friday to pick up load and the paperwork was time stamped Wednesday afternoon like the shipper said. The planners are ####### mental and don't give 2 ##### about drivers. If you believe they do you are one of the sheep that are part of the problem.

 

So where are you going to go next? I think we all would like to know where this place is where they actually care about the wants and wishes of the driver.

After I finish sitting here for at least 24 hours, I hope they get me on something decent. My fear is that they will expect me to drive at night because I sat all day.

 

DOT physical all done, now waiting for a load at Marshfield.

 

Must be post holiday chaos over there.
