Roehl Driver Check In Continued

I might have to turn on the AC tonight. Well... maybe open the windows at least, but I'm certain I won't need the heater, and I am very thankful. Broke out a short sleeve shirt after my shower today. But tomorrow I'll be back up north.

 

Not at Walmart. However, I generally avoid bathrooms at grocery warehouses if I can. But sometimes it just can't be avoided.

 

I know where you are. I meant the store down the road nut bag. They have truck parking on the eastern part of lot.

I see. I arrived in the dark and didn't even notice the Walmart. I'm in the queue of trucks parked on the roadside and have a preplan for when I get unloaded, so I will not be stopping to see this sight (not that I was looking forward to it).

Of all the places I've been, absolutely nothing tops the bathroom at Billy Carter's gas station in Plains, GA. It was the closest thing to a real life version of Jason Vorhees' toilet in one of the Friday the 13th sequels.

NM. I-40 xt 39. Pilot at refinery. Little windy the truck rocks every minute or so.

 

The one thing I was worried about doing this job was being far away and having a family emergency. Got a call from mom last night, dad had two major heart attacks and is in ICU in Lacrosse. I'm in Texas. Was told they'd route me back towards home today, but am pretty worried with bad weather wrecking the middle of the country. Could use some prayers if anybody is the religious type.

 

I don't envy your situation, not that there is a good time for this to happen but you're right about the weather. We just had a thaw and a cold front is supposed to come thru and freeze everything up. Thoughts are with you, stay safe and get back when you can.
