Yikes, and it appears there will be 2 more increases in the future

If drivers were smart they wouldn't haul anything across that bridge. How much revenue do you think that bridge would loose if it were completely impassible by abut down trucks? Enough to reduce the cost to a reasonable amount in short time.

 

That's why I will never drive my truck up there...that's insane.

 

Terrible mentality. If drivers were smart, they would add double the tolls to their NYC rates and profit off the press it's getting. This is business, they can raise the toll to $1,000 and I could care less, that and more will be added to my rate. When fuel was $5 a gallon, I made more profit than when it was $2 a gallon. The morons that won't increase their rates can go out of business , hopefully faster now.

Don't for a minute think that Swift didn't increase their toll surcharge to the customer the minute the price went up.

 

I crossed the GW the other day it was over $300.00 for an OD load that doesn't include all the other stuff as well

 

Time to stay out of the area. No place to park once you get there. The roads are falling apart and beat your truck apart.
