They have been hiring drivers out of El Paso to run between Indy and the El Paso terminal, which is not far from my company.

 

celadon is just swift with a shinier package. they have a long list of fines, chargebacks and withholding long after the fact. They will wait 3-4 months and come up with some chargeback from a load you ran months ago. They will tell you that you are supposed to get 41cpm for Canadian freight, and then you mysteriously get 34 cpm for a load coming from Ontario. as far as I was concerned, they could never get me home, even though I was supposed to be home weekly. the reason they have so many in orientation is no one will stay around to chargebacked into bankruptcy. And don't even think about going to Laredo. you could be there 3-6 days waiting for a load.

 

Well, now Celadon has just purchased a Canadian Company called Yanke. So it will be interesting to see how that works out.
