I ran into a little freezing rain in Oklahoma this morning, but otherwise had no problems up to St Louis. Should be good to go now as soon as I figure out where I'm suppose to take this load.Meltom Thanks this.

Little truckstop on corner of US23 and US6 just north of Risingsun OH. Then to MI, for Chicago Saturday morning, then home I guess. After that out until Christmas.

Met kardolmer tonight at Gary and had a good chat. Always nice to meet people in person.
DsquareD Thanks this. -
Hey you guys stop that. Only I'm supposed to meet others.technoroom Thanks this.
-
Glad to hear it, do you guys still have the cottage grove drop yard? Don't get me wrong, I have no idea where your load is going, but that seems like the place to dump it and bounce your home empty.
-
Yep, I've used it several times as a last minute parking spot.Meltom Thanks this.
-
Yeah, depending where that load is going, too bad you couldn't have relayed it out of east St. Louis and gotten something from Edwardsville to Tomah walmart.
-
Sounds like a good plan. I had that problem on an old Freightliner and it was a pain.

I got hammered by sleet between Memphis and St Louis. Wipers froze like two stiff sticks. Fortunately I planned for this and stopped and put my winter blades on.
Now if only I had some fuel treatment on board I would feel better about my winter preparedness. I asked for some, but they weren't letting it out yet. Then two days later when I was no where near a terminal they tell everyone to get some. Thanks...
