You say your from the north, but I don't know. Winter blades? What is that nonsense? Same crap, different packaging to make more money. Add a little extra rubber. Now if you got heated ones, that's different.
Just get a squeegee, with an angled handle so you can reach from the seat.

    TA in Bloomington, IL.

Just finished another Thanksgiving dinner that can't be beat. Only two left and then it's canned goods.

They work much better than the unprotected ones. I change blades frequently, so I'm not worried about the rubber cover failing. I rarely go more than two months on a regular set of blades.

I used to get the really good premium wipers and they would last all winter until a mechanic stole a new set right off the truck. I was more than just a little hacked off and had strong words with the lead mechanic. He gave me some crap about once I attach something to the truck it belongs to the company, blah, blah, blah. Which only means they were stolen from the company then instead of me. But what about MY cb radio, that's no more attached than MY wiper blades.

I thought about raising it further, especially since they weren't in the trash like the mechanic said they were, hmm, sounds like someone is lying, besides, why would he change them when they were brand new. But then I had an idea, I got along well with the parts guy and after shooting the breeze with him for a while he sent a guy over to the local auto parts store in Mondovi and got me a new set. They lasted well into spring and were still on the truck when I quit.

So I'm thankful that Roehl issues winter blades and I don't have to buy my own.

Seems shady, I've never had the blades changed, unless I specifically ask. Even on PM's. They never changed them. I've always had to ask when they tell me it's all done. Then they oh, ok, then change them, to the junk they stock. The best blades I've gotten at Roehl are the factory stock ones on a new truck.

Exactly my point. I think it was the first time in history that a mechanic changed the blades on a truck.

If these don't hold up to my liking, I'll go back to buying my own, as I know they will last all winter.

    Bayle Thanks this.

Which way you headed? I'm just up the road in Bloomington. I'll be doing a drop/hook in Oconomowoc, WI at noon today.

Yep we still have it, but I'm hooked to a theft sensitive load, so no go there. And..... WalMart refused to take it early, so ended up having to truck up to Tomah to meet another driver, wait for him to unload, then grab his empty so he can grab mine. Still sitting here at the Loves outside of Tomah waiting. It's been quite the cluster.

I was hoping for that too, but I was behind the 8 ball right away because my regular FM was off Wednesday, and the "fill in" didn't seem to interested. My FM busted his ### trying to get me home, but somebody behind the lines didn't seem to care whether I got there or not. I got up to Sun Prairie when I was informed the cons wouldn't take the load early. They refused to let me pull it home and deliver it on Monday because that would be "too many miles". Hello! My dad is in the ####### ICU! Didn't matter.. Again, not blaming my FM because he worked on trying to get me home sooner for hours, but was frustrated himself.

I don't have any either. Also asked for some last time in Neenah, but didn't have it yet. I called Maint today and asked them if plugging in the engine heater was sufficient, and they said if fuel is treated yes, no need to add the additives. Hope they're right.
