Picked up at 5am north of the ft worth pilot on Friday, was a mess on the roads but got thru there in about 2 1/2 hours, roads cleared going south right about the 35e/w merge in Hillsboro.
-
What caused this traffic jam from hell?
-
glad i'm not caught in that mess.
-
man that sucks, longest I ever have been stuck in a jam where we werent moving at all was probably 3 hours.

Ice !! I take it some of you have never been there..... it's a pain to run in the daylight when dry. I can't imagine nites on ice.
That 35 corridor from Austin to OK is some of the busiest and worst road I've ever been on. Smoking brake checks without warning. Roll overs and unexplained crashes. I just dunno. Reminds me of I-30 from the rock to WM.
I told my carrier "too bad" ....You give me the time I need to run that leg at night or you send someone else....( Waco, Austin, Tyler, Denton, Valley ) drops. And they did.....but even with that.....it was busy out there. Too many 4 wheelers and not enough concrete IMO.blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
Wonder if Texas will ever invest in Salt/ Salt spredders?
blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
I-35 in valley view drivers have been sitting for @ two hours now. it's being recomended that "Any trucks on I-20 going west should chain up the hills are real slick and most trucks are getting stuck," that was @ an hour ago.
and one more for ya.
