That's true but he still had his choice of lanes. and 10 at night isn't that busy around chcicago area.He should have just went around him without being an ahole about it.I have driove Chicago more times then I want to and always stayed in the second to the farthest right lane because it exits off and can be hard to move over.
Crazy FedEx driver!

Im betting the "fedex" driver you saw was fedex ground whose drivers are the ones you usually see being aggressive and stupid, those drivers are independent contractors or work for one. There is nothing "elite" about that division
paul_4lp Thanks this. -
See this is where I disagree. Cops don't care how busy it is, a truck caught in a restricted lane is ticketed and many companies terminate drivers for restricted lane ticket.paul_4lp and Raiderfanatic Thank this.

PattyJ...... I Think he means 4 lanes north / 4 lanes south

Worked out great - he went around the second time.

Lower your expectations so you wont disappoint yourself when it comes to fedex.....Last edited by a moderator: Jan 26, 2014

Thats what i was wondering, was it FeDeX Ground, Home deliv or freight? Be more specific -
Yes it was FedEx Ground, pulling doubles. The cab was a FedEx day cab (R13152 to be specific).

The 3rd lane has been restricted for at least 40+ years that I know of. But not letting a faster moving vehicle pass is not legal either, even if he is speeding.
paul_4lp and Raiderfanatic Thank this. -
No excuse for tailgating. Does that make him the pot and you the kettle or vice versa?
Slowing his butt down and taking off is something else that has no place on the road either. Two wrongs don't make a right.paul_4lp, stungjoe, CondoCruiser and 2 others Thank this.
