I will forward the info to him...More than likely I will simply copy and paste the link to this thread and he can check it when he can check it...One question though, is ODFL hiring in the Texas area? He lives in Mineral Wells, roughly 20 miles west of me and about 35 miles west of Ft. Worth, give or take a few miles.

You can think that if you wish, but I take offense at being called a liar for no reason. I use my REAL name in my user name...my REAL name is Steven Neill. My user name is the same on EVERY forum. Why? Because i don't care if people know who I am. I keep my facebook open to the public...Why? Because I have nothing to hide. I am completely open about everything about me, and for someone to come forward, for no reason at all, to insinuate, or outright claim that I lied about something as friggen stupid as a friend's name is insulting. You may well do things like that 4 no reason but that doesn't mean I won't comment on it. I assume you followed the email link to FB and confirmed that not only am I who I said I am but that I was genuinly trying to find information for a REAL friend who REALLY is named Johnny Lang. And if so, if you have anything helpful to add then please do so, otherwise go antagonize someone else.

Lighten up Francis, he never called you a liar. He thought it was a fake name, Like Mike Hunt or Haywood Jablome. It was a misunderstanding and you keep ranting about it. There are good reasons not to plaster your real name all over the net. If you choose to, that is your right. That doesn't make it a good idea.
There was a topic on this forum from a couple teaming. They were saying some nice things (really, nice, no sarcasm)about their company. Someone from their company figured out it was them and told them to stop. They did for a while but realized they were Americans and with the Constitution and the bill of rights, I guess they figured out they could continue to express their thoughts here.
On the other hand, being a small business owner you do want your name out there to show you stand behind your service. Good for you.
Oh Yeah, Don't call me Francis!

There's no need to validate a name of a person. Plus there's no reason to scrutinize the message because of a name. What's important is the content and the information received back from the group. If someone wants to use a different name other than the true ID it doesn't matter along as it's not to fraud someone. And in this case the message was seeking information. Signed Walt Disney.
frankgh and stevenneill Thank this.
