I appreciate your feedback Buckeye, have you talked to any other drivers there that have been around for several years...
-
Problem is that most of these posts are from guys that have only been with Schaffer less than a year...
-
Yeah i have my trainer was with them seven years and says he is going to retire from there and he wants only the million miles that he drove for shaffer to count not the others with previous company...says a lot of what he thinks about them...sorry cant help more

OP loves doing 62, only now it wont be him slowly creeping up on the left side of big blue or ridiculously slow red.
(Have fun on the hills!)
That whole half of a quarter of a percent of an eigth of a MPH difference between my FFE rig, and Shaffer/Crete drove ME NUTS. To the extent when I saw one up in-front of me, I would just get off the interstate for a while. lol -
The difference is different truck, seat, company name, fleet manager name otherwise everything else is almost the same they pay high cent per mile but you won't get them miles, Heartland recruiter offered me 0.44 cpm and 2500 miles a week i laugh and hang up because when you ask one of their driver that ##### be like im turning my truck in next week.
