There are mental illnesses where people crave nothing more than attention...Some have asked why this is being drawn out so long, I just don't get the reluctance. It is all really getting silly. I would do everything to get home and then work it out with Navajo through the courts. Just typing away on a forum and getting no closer to home just don't make sense. Is it possible the OP could fall in this catagory and Victor and others are just feeding the illness... We all have met some very crazy people on the roads and some even have computers with internet access. Just ask you self is my theory possible based on the length this has been drawn out?

PJ I've been following this thread since my last post. As I said in the last post I found a better Itinerary out of Yakima, WA also served by that Airporter bus. In that case you would have about a 3 block walk between the two stations and about 3 hours to kill at a staffed bus depot. The bus would leave from Yakima at about 11:45 PM and there would be 1 Transfer at a Pilot in Stanfield, OR. From there it would be 1 bus all the way into Denver. I understand you have never been on Greyhound and don't blame you for being apprehensive. No I can tell you from about 3 cross country trips on the bus it is not pleasant but it is not horrible torture either. Especially now with the current buses having WiFi and Power outlets and leather seats. Yes it is about a 28 hour bus ride but I'm not sure what other choice there is. The other plus if you can get to the Greyhound station is all staffed depot's offer package express which is pretty simillar to UPS or Fed Ex. They will ship your stuff for a shipping fee to Denver and possibly with Denver being a metropolitan area drop it off at your house for an extra fee. I'm just worried and I think I possibly echo others that the longer you stay there eventually the money is going to run out and your going to be forced into a desperate situation.

I can't even begin to count how many times ive taken the bus.Jefferson lines has Greyhound beat big time.Very comfortable seats .

Let me paint a better picture:
The company is based out of Denver, about 14 miles from my home. I therefore packed my car with winter gear, including several coats and pairs of boots, my winter bedding including two standard pillows, and three regular sized duffles. I didn't pack lightly or carefully because I didn't foresee something like this happening. It all fit nicely in the truck but there's no way I can travel with it.
Jan from Tacoma has called me twice in the last 15 minutes. She was at her dentist's earlier, and hopes to be taking off tomorrow. I, in the meantime, am figuring out how to get my stuff packed and shipped, and planning on taking the shuttle tomorrow afternoon to Ellensburg to get on the bus. If I can't ship it, I'm not willing to just leave it. I would not be able to afford to replace my winter gear.
(And I apologize to the mods, I didn't realize dam with an n was a banned word.)Gitana, Lonesome, Lux Prometheus and 3 others Thank this. -
that used to be the way a new company brought you in..some still do....did it many times...what happens when the money runs out where she is??? would be better to take care of her stuff and get on the bus....
thebennyman and Arky Thank this. -
Pattj I can relate. Jefferson Lines uses some more luxury style buses. Although most of the Greyhound buses running now are less than 2 years old and they have taken what usually would be a 55 seater and made it a 50 seater with black leather seats. Another option PJ would be Amtrak but their prices are usually more expensive and would probably involve the Airporter to Seattle then Amtrak to Sacramento and another Amtrak train to Denver. That would be a considerably longer route.
