That's what I'm saying about the 5 boroughs map. This would be a solid note to make on the map, NY 110 low clearance at the RR just north of 24 isn't valid, 13'6" will clear it.

Are you an FM with Roehl or another carrier?
-

One of the "low" clearances that I went under today had arched gussets on the beams that probably did go down to the posted height of 12' 3". I went to the wrong side and had to hug the curb (watch out, some of them are made of granite and will wreck a tire real quick). I could see in the drive side mirror that I probably would have hit it if not paying attention.FlatbedTexan and Meltom Thank this.

Minot ND kinda a sucky place. Tomorrrow morning iam told to blindley drive to Grand Forks should have something that way by the time i am mostly there. They wanted me to go tonight, but when i was asked to go that way i only had 49 minutes on my 14. Left the house this morning at 215 am kinda screwed with the plan lol.
The consignee today rocked, helped me fold my tarps pull my straps. had me unloaded and me gone in under a hour.Bayle Thanks this. -
I have always been tempted to ask my FM if he looks at this board. but than again i dont want to know.
-
You don't want to know. Then again, probably doesn't matter, considering.
-
Lol yeah i dont care if he does.
Like you know hes pretty easy going as long as you do your job. -
Parked at consignee in Beltsville, MD. Talk about bad directions, they have signs all over the place saying, no trucks over 13 tons, on the road that was in the directions. I went around.

Launched back out today despite being a little under the weather. Got a short run to Cicero, IL where it's at the moment an impossible back to the dock. Cars on both sides, narrow road. Tried 5 times. Not happening unless some cars move in the morning. Really makes me wish I would have stayed home another day now. <br>On a separate note, do you guys put anything on the front of your grills to keep your water temp up so you have heat? I tried some cardboard on the inside, but of course it doesn't stay, and gets quite chilly inside the cab.
